Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 13–18 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Document and submit hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
• Participate in annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Willingness and ability to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
