Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and rotating weekends and holidays | On-call required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with an estimated 1:3 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts and manage peripheral and central line access
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with high-acuity stepdown or progressive care environments
