Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
- Float within scope of practice to support all pediatric units as needed, including CVPICU and NICU
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in emergency response operations as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required
- Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current PALS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
