Travel RN – Free Standing Emergency Department

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a free-standing emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
• Respond to emergent and critical situations with clinical competence and composure

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
