Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | No weekends required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care nursing services within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex wound conditions in accordance with WOCN standards of practice
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Float to like units within the facility as needed to support staffing requirements
• Participate in emergency response teams as required, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; South Carolina RN license required prior to start (candidates with pending SC license will be considered with proof of application or ability to complete SC walk-through process)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification required
• WOCN certification required (continence certification not required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care RN
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric wound care experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience charting in Epic
• First-time travel nursing candidates are welcome to apply
