Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in a critical care setting
• Provide advanced life support, treat wounds, and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Monitor and adjust ventilators, IABP, and other critical care equipment to ensure proper function
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications; perform suctioning and other critical care interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary critical care team and assist physicians during procedures
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families; serve as a patient advocate

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (must be current and in good standing)
• ACLS certification required – must be issued through the American Heart Association
• BLS certification required – must be issued through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of clinical ICU/critical care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care or ICU setting
• Experience managing ventilator-dependent and hemodynamically unstable patients
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
