Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Women & Infant Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekend coverage required | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Float between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units as part of the Women & Infant Float Pool
• Provide direct patient care to obstetric and postpartum patients across multiple care settings
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes across all assigned units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• ACLS certification required
• AWHOHN Intermediate certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHOHN Advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit women's services environment
