Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation, with potential schedule adjustments to support weekday coverage needs
- Float as needed to NICU or Special Care Nursery (SCN) units within the health system
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed
- Complete orientation consisting of one 12-hour shift (6 hours non-billable)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum experience in a Tertiary PICU setting required
- Must provide a current resume, one PICU supervisor reference from within the past year, a completed skills checklist, and verification of Illinois RN license upon submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to NICU or Special Care Nursery environments
- Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric patient populations
