Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/PCU setting during night shift hours
- Float within the facility as required to support staffing needs across units
- Administer and manage IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias
- Work every other weekend, including Friday and Saturday nights
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown nursing experience (note: candidates with exactly 1 year of experience are subject to manager review and will not receive automatic offers)
- Active RN license — valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Previous telemetry experience required
- Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Locals are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drip management
