Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Cover rotating shifts including days (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) and evenings (2:00 PM–10:30 PM)
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation and holiday rotation coverage
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska or a compact state license with Nebraska privileges
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and evenings
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with LTC/SNF documentation and care protocols
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a geriatric care environment
