Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehabilitation

Contract | Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite | Travel candidates accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy assistant services in a rehabilitation setting
• Work with orthopedic populations, including post-operative patients and young athletes
• Assist in treatment of patients presenting with debility, fall risk, and balance deficits
• Maintain a 1:1 patient-to-therapist ratio throughout the course of treatment
• Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately within the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma state PTA license or valid compact license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Demonstrated competency working with orthopedic, post-operative, and balance/fall populations
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience as a PTA, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Prior experience working with young athletes in a rehabilitation setting
