Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical-surgical nursing care to adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients across a 32-bed unit
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and deliver education using electronic documentation via EPIC
• Operate unit equipment including AcuDose and other inpatient tools
• Float to Medical Surgical units across multiple facility locations within Fargo as needed
• Adhere to facility badging requirements and maintain compliance with unit dress code (Navy Blue scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 Trauma Center, 200+ beds)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Experience working in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center
• Ability and willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit across multiple Fargo locations
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles may be considered at a local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Trauma and Orthopedic Trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with Joint Commission (TJC) certified programs, such as Hip Fracture Program protocols
• Comfort with self-scheduling in a dynamic, needs-based unit environment
