Contract | 16-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week | No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient Adult Hematology/Oncology infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to patients ranging in age from 18 to 100
• Maintain a patient care ratio of up to 4 patients per nurse
• Accurately document all patient care activities using the Epic electronic medical records system
• Follow unit-specific protocols and procedures for infusion therapy in a clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — license must be on file at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in an Oncology/Infusion specialty
• Outpatient clinic experience in an Infusion/Oncology setting is required
• Chemo and biotherapy certification required
• Training and demonstrated experience administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
• Reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended — public transportation is not accessible in this area; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Adult Hematology/Oncology unit
• Familiarity with infusion therapy protocols and procedures in an outpatient clinic environment
• Prior travel nursing experience
