Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 14-bed capacity and nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2
- Maintain flexibility to meet unit staffing needs; no block schedule is offered
- Circulate as required within the Labor & Delivery setting
- Float to support Helping Hands in NICU and Postpartum as needed
- Document and manage patient care using Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Work required weekend shifts as determined by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Ability to circulate within the Labor & Delivery unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR platforms
- Familiarity with NICU and Postpartum care settings
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying patient populations and staffing demands
