Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Saturday through Tuesday | 12-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical Rehabilitation Unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for rehabilitation patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as clinically indicated
- Ensure safe and effective nursing practice in accordance with facility and unit protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of Acute Care or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting prior to start date (must arrive in-state a few days before start)
- Availability to participate in a clinical interview prior to placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Rehabilitation or Medical Rehabilitation setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in an acute care environment
