Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using electronic health record systems
- Adapt to evolving departmental workflows, including an anticipated transition to a new EHR platform
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Stroke certification
- Experience with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to EHR transitions and new technology implementations
- Experience managing high patient volumes in a Level I or Level II Emergency Department
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergent clinical situations
