Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging across a range of anatomical areas including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine/musculoskeletal in Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatric Acute Care settings
• Operate Siemens CT scanner independently, as the technologist will be working alone on shift
• Execute image display and post-processing tasks including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurements
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and start peripheral IVs in accordance with radiation safety and isolation precaution protocols
• Document and communicate using EPIC and facility email systems
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every 6–7 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience with Siemens CT scanners; must be comfortable operating independently
• Proficiency with PACS and experience across required CT imaging protocols (abdomen/pelvis, chest, vascular, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal)
• NC license or Compact license (pending status acceptable for submission)
• Local candidates are welcome; candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at an adjusted rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Adult Outpatient or Pediatric Outpatient settings
• Advanced image post-processing skills including 3D rendering techniques (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering)
• Experience with vascular CTA special procedures
