Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available | Shift times: 18:45–07:15 | Every other weekend required (expected 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with ratios of 1:5–6
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drip administration
• Perform sheath pulls as part of post-procedural care
• Manage and maintain central lines in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor and respond to high-risk telemetry patients
• Float within inpatient service line across campuses as needed to meet facility demands

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license — Illinois license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• High-risk telemetry experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a Magnet-designated hospital environment
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system workflows
