Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Contract, Days shift, 13-week assignment, travel
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and hospital staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient observations and care activities accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PACU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts confidently.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
