Contract | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | Includes call, holidays, and weekends | No block scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgical team during operative procedures in a Level 1 trauma environment
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgical proceduresHandle and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical staff as directed
- Perform call duties as assigned, including holidays and weekends
- Adhere to all surgical safety protocols and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on surgical technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Level 1 trauma experience must be clearly documented in work history
- Strong performance on surgical skills checklist required
- Ability to work day shift hours including call, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties within a high-acuity trauma center
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environments
