Surgical Technologist (Allied)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | Includes call, holidays, and weekends | No block scheduling

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgical team during operative procedures in a Level 1 trauma environment
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgical proceduresHandle and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical staff as directed
  • Perform call duties as assigned, including holidays and weekends
  • Adhere to all surgical safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on surgical technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
  • Level 1 trauma experience must be clearly documented in work history
  • Strong performance on surgical skills checklist required
  • Ability to work day shift hours including call, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience across multiple surgical specialties within a high-acuity trauma center
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environments
