Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit setting, including management of general medical-surgical cases and overflow oncology patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact equivalent (Nursys verification required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Current BLS/CPR certification (certification card required)
• Ability to work night shifts with no requested time off (RTO) restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for oncology patients in an overflow or general medical-surgical capacity
• Familiarity with high-acuity, large hospital environments
