• Full-time, day shifts, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients in the PACU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage pain and symptoms after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
• Assist with patient discharge procedures and provide post-operative instructions as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or similar setting.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Must have experience with various surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Plastics, General Surgery, Colorectal, and Gynecology.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working at outpatient surgery centers or in multi-specialty surgical environments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
