• Days, Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Ensure all treatments are delivered following an established plan of care
• Record treatments provided and note patient progress in medical records
• Provide clinical support and instructions to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust as necessary
• Complete required documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education)
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Empathy and patience when working with patients
• Physical stamina to assist with patient movement and exercises

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
