Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown unit
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to acute changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Support patient families and provide education as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or multistate licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital setting, ideally in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II trauma center or similar fast-paced environment
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
