Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 7-on/7-off rotation, includes weekends, shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, days only
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in pharmacy operations, including medication order verification and product checks
• Support clinical staff by answering medication-related questions
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and medication management protocols
• Oversee medication distribution and documentation in a high-volume hospital setting
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow in a busy central pharmacy
Required Qualifications
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days only (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Experience working in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in emergency department pharmacy
• Familiarity with Cerner and Vigilanz systems
• Experience managing technical staff and overseeing medication processes
• ACLS certification (preferred but not required)
