Location
- Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units at a busy tertiary hospital
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure in North Carolina or appropriate compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as ACLS
