Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active licensed RN with Nursys verification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Strong ortho and trauma surgical skills
- Proven ability to work in a similar-sized healthcare setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for orthopedics and trauma patients
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking and communication
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in night shift
