Location
• Manchester, CT
Schedule / Job Type
• Part-time, nights shift, 32 hours per week, split shifts (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM) plus call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor patient recovery status and vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
• Manage call duties during evenings and weekends as assigned
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PACU Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work split shifts and handle on-call responsibilities
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Meditech and Epic electronic health record systems
• Prior exposure to EHR conversions or system upgrades
