- Days, Full-time, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an inpatient overflow step-down unit with medical-surgical and progressive care patients.
- Monitor telemetry patients, utilizing bedside monitors and EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and charge staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Support quick patient turnover with patients often staying less than 24 hours.
- Float to other units as needed to meet staffing demands.
- Adhere to unit policies and maintain compliance with safety and care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Telemetry competency.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care or ICU experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Strong patient-centered communication skills.
- Positive attitude, compassionate demeanor, team-oriented approach.
