Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 or 4 Infant Care Unit (ICN).
- Manage infants with a variety of diagnoses, including prematurity (as early as 22 weeks) and surgical conditions.
- Utilize advanced procedures such as Therapeutic Hypothermia, Nitric Oxide, UAC/UVC, GTT, Trachs, and more.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic systems like EPIC and Pyxis.
- Float between units such as Peds, PICU, and Nursery as needed, based on census and skill set.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 ICN.
- Valid NC or Compact State RN license, in hand at start.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Vents experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and manage complex neonatal cases.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers accepted with NICU experience.
- Experience with advanced neonatal procedures and equipment such as Servo Vents, Giraffe, Baby Leo, HFOV.
- Familiarity with Epic and other hospital systems.
- Experience working with premature infants, including those as early as 22 weeks.

Additional Details
- No call required; night shifts only.
- Up to 7 days of RTO (requested time off) can be auto-approved if within policy.
- Float to other units including Peds, PICU, Nursery; candidate must be comfortable floating.
- Travel compliance and rehire policies apply.
- Must complete required modules pre-start and annually.
