Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) imaging using GE brand scanners across a busy 640-bed hospital.
• Start IVs and deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with high acuity.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document procedures in EMR (Epic) and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist in managing patient flow during scheduled shifts, including every third weekend coverage.
• Collaborate with radiology team to deliver efficient imaging services.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois State license or confirmation of application processing.
• ARRT certification in radiology and valid IEMA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with GE CT scanners and proficiency in starting IVs.
• Must have recent trauma experience and travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating GE CT scanners.
• Prior travel or temporary assignments in radiology.
• Ability to work with PACS and electronic medical records (Epic).
