Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide adult respiratory care services in a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma hospital setting.
• Deliver critical care interventions including ventilator management, patient assessment, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Float within scope to main hospital as needed, supporting various units while adhering to policies and charting procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs and respond to emergent situations.
• Follow established protocols for ICU and step-down unit patients, including post-operative cardiac and vascular patients, transplant, and complex cardiology cases.
• Participate in emergency response initiatives during hurricane season as required.

Required Qualifications
• NBRC RRT certification with SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license in hand prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years' critical care respiratory therapy experience in adult populations.
• Ability to work 3 nights per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday and weekend availability.
• Must reside within 60 miles of Charleston, SC, or be willing to relocate.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, or complex cardiac and surgical patients.
• Previous hospital-based floating experience across multiple units.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
