Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Location

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during recovery
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
• Document patient progress and care effectively
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact State Nursing License in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in telemetry, vents, level 1 trauma preferred
• Minimum of 10-hour shifts available for scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
• Experience with trauma and ventilator management

• Travel compliance is required; candidates outside Ohio must complete fingerprinting promptly after booking
