Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

13-week contract, night shifts (3x12 hours), full-time, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, antenatal, postpartum, and well-baby nursery units
- Float to Emergency Department and Med/Surg units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and multifaceted skills
- Administer medications, monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and ensure patient safety during labor and postpartum periods
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting system
- Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with all certifications and licensing requirements
- Participate in orientation sessions scheduled on Tuesdays to align with facility procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license and relevant state certifications
- BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- PALS (AHA/ARC or ENPC) certification
- NRP certification
- Prior travel experience as an RN preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, and SANE certifications are a plus
- Experience working in small, critical access facilities with diverse responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple clinical areas

- Facility provides housing at $225/week or local travel options available, with a minor rate adjustment
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
