Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract (13 weeks), night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical surgical nursing care to patients within a 12-hour shift.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best patient outcomes.
• Float to other departments as needed in a rotating schedule.
• Adhere to established protocols, including suicide prevention and patient safety standards.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech or similar electronic health records.
• Work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license (verified via demographics from Nursys).
• Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Knowledge of Meditech (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a flexible schedule including every other weekend off.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Willingness to float to different departments as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
