Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

• Santa Rosa, CA

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a busy PACU environment with an 8-bed unit.
• Monitor and assess patient vitals and recovery status post-surgery.
• Float between hospital units and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Adhere to hospital and state guidelines, including working major holidays and floating duties.
• Document patient care using Epic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with travel and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient acute PACU.
• Ability to work days, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• Willingness to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and float as required.
• Must have US-based certifications and supervisory references within the last three years.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between hospital units and affiliate facilities.
• Familiarity with OR and PACU procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
