• Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult critical care respiratory therapy, including intubation, suctioning, nasal airway placement, and pulmonary hygiene.
• Administer inhaled medications such as albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, and others via aerosol setups, metered-dose inhalers, and nebulizers.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, troubleshoot high-pressure alarms, and assist with weaning from ventilation support.
• Monitor and care for adult and geriatric patient populations, ensuring optimal respiratory function.
• Perform sputum collection, tracheostomy care, and other advanced respiratory procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Proficiency in adult critical care procedures, including high-flow nasal cannula and BiPAP/CPAP troubleshooting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system (minimum 1 year).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level 1 experience.
• Ability to float to other units or campuses as needed, with documented competencies.
• Knowledge of airway management and aerosol therapy equipment.
