• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult critical care including mechanical ventilation management, extubation, and tracheostomy care
• Administer inhaled medications such as albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, and nebulized therapies, ensuring proper aerosol setup
• Perform respiratory procedures including nasal airway placements, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, and sputum collection
• Troubleshoot and manage high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, and other oxygen therapy equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and patient assessments within critical care settings

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
• At least 2 years of experience in adult critical care environments
• ACLS certification required
• Valid SC state license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system, with at least 1 year of experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Level 1 Trauma centers
• Knowledge of sedation and ventilator weaning protocols
• Ability to float to various units within the healthcare system as needed
• Experience with high-pressure alarm troubleshooting and documentation in clinical settings
