Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry

• Lafayette, IN

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 4 days per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients with varying acuity levels, including oncology and stroke units
• Administer and monitor medication drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Insulin
• Manage post-procedure patients including post-heart cath and post-pacemaker care
• Recognize and respond to unstable stroke patients and BiPAP needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Required Qualifications
• Active Indiana RN license (temporary or permanent accepted prior to start)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a medical-surgical, telemetry, or related unit
• Solid neuro experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float within the hospital and to affiliated facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Proven experience with cardiac, stroke, oncology, and pulmonary patient care
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system or similar EHR tools
• Experience working in a dynamic, mixed acuity medical-surgical and PCU environment
