Job Title

• CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time / Day shift (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all surgical procedures within the CVOR department, excluding transplant surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and surgical instruments.
• Float to General OR cases as needed, ensuring coverage across various specialties.
• Adhere to all certification and equipment protocols to support surgical teams.
• Support the OR team in using advanced equipment, including two Xi DaVinci Robots.
• Comply with facility policies regarding travel, licensing, and credentials.

Required Qualifications

• Current CST certification with CVOR experience.
• BCLS and NBSTS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in a CVOR or similar setting.
• In-hand license prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable.
• Pass background checks and provide two supervisor references.
• Must be willing to float to general cases and travel within hospital or nearby affiliates.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgical equipment, particularly DaVinci robots.
• Familiarity with a high-volume OR environment performing diverse surgical specialties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical setting.
