Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.

• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.

• Review and maintain respiratory care plans for assigned patients.

• Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans appropriately based on findings.

• Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires within the department.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC.

• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

• Current certification in CPR.

• Must obtain or hold ACLS and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire or transfer.

• Must be able to be on call and able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS and STABLE certifications are preferred but not required.

• Experience in a clinical respiratory care setting is a plus.
