Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes across applicable care settings.

• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as clinically indicated.

• Review and maintain individualized respiratory care plans for assigned patients.

• Conduct patient evaluations and make appropriate adjustments to care plans based on findings.

• Serve as a preceptor for students and newly hired staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC.

• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

• Current CPR certification.

• ACLS and NRP certifications required, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer.

• Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is preferred but not required.

• STABLE certification is preferred but not required.
