Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days Shift, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including those with cardiac surgeries and high acuity conditions
• Assist with procedures such as IABP, Impella, LVAD support, chest tube management, pacing wires, and intubation/extubation
• Monitor hemodynamics and operate advanced cardiac devices and monitors
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Support patient ambulation and recovery processes in a critical care setting
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards

Required Qualifications

• Active ACLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience in CVICU or CVRU settings
• BLS certification required
• Critical care training in a cardiac or ICU environment
• Passion for surgical heart care and critical patient management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room care
• Experience with ECMO, Pacer Wires, and LVADs
• Energetic, friendly, and eager to expand critical care skills

• Availability for weekend shifts and on-call duties, alternating as scheduled
• Travel RN position with current assignment starting April 13, 2026, at a leading cardiac care center in Asheville, NC
