• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour days

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in all surgical areas, managing a variety of cases from craniotomies to laparoscopic procedures and endovascular interventions (excluding cardiovascular surgery).
• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and surgical standards during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care.
• Comply with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements related to perioperative nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of circulating experience in surgical services.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications from AHA.
• Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience within the last 12 months, with passing competency exam.
• Valid state license (Compact or Tennessee license required at the time of submission).
• Ability to pass any required background checks.
• Must be able to pass a fit test (shaving required for facial hair).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR systems.
• Experience circulating in diverse surgical specialties, including neurosurgery, laparoscopic, and endovascular procedures.
• Flexibility to float as needed, unless otherwise specified.
