Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float between units and hospitals as needed to ensure optimal staffing coverage.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and respond to acute needs during night shifts.
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including requirements for holidays and every other weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state (No temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS or Red Cross certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, or 18 months of recent experience working under a professional license with at least 1 year in a specialized field.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma, orthopedics, or urology units.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with EMR documentation systems (Meditech preferred).
