Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to medically complex patients in a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Manage patient cases involving respiratory failure, dysphagia, ICU myelopathy, cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary conditions.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy according to patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress using Cerner and SBAR charting systems.
• Complete required certifications and documentation for each assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Active CCC-SLP certification.
• Valid state license or pending license verification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including one weekend per month.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in ICU or hospital settings with medically complex patients.
• Prior travel therapy experience beneficial.
• Familiarity with MBSImP and other specialty-specific assessments.
