Job Title

• X-Ray/Radiology Technologist (Outpatient Urgent Care)

Location

• Springfield, IL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in an outpatient urgent care setting
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment in compliance with hospital protocols
• Document procedures accurately using Cerner charting system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide quality patient care
• Adhere to all safety and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois radiology license (must be in hand at submission)
• ARRT Radiology Technology certification (ARRT R)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently and within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I trauma hospital or acute care environment
• Cerner charting experience
• Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed
• Willingness to work on-call as required
