Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic CT scanning procedures in a high-volume hospital setting
• Operate GE brand CT scanners and ensure image quality
• Start IVs as needed for contrast administration
• Adhere to department protocols and safety standards
• Document procedures accurately within the EPIC EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois state license or confirmation of application initiation
• ARRT certification in radiologic technology and IEMA certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with GE CT scanners
• Ability to perform IV placements and handle high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma experience
• Prior travel or temporary assignment experience
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR and PACS systems

Additional Notes

• Shifts: 12-hour nights, rotating every 3 days
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend (Fri/Sat for nights, Sat/Sun for days)
• No call or holiday work required, but open to those willing
• Scrubs provided; solid colors or prints are acceptable
• Department orientation typically lasts 1 week
