Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, evening shifts (5x8 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization processes for medical instruments and equipment in accordance with hospital protocols
- Ensure all surgical tools and supplies are properly cleaned, disinfected, and ready for use
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization procedures using electronic health records systems
- Adhere to regulatory and safety standards, including certifications and hospital policies
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sterile processing experience; 2 years preferred
- Certification from CBSPD or CRCST
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be eligible to obtain or possess a current certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar charting systems
- Ability to work evening shifts and maintain flexibility with schedule
