- Full-time, on-site, evening shift (5x8 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols.
- Ensure all sterilization processes meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization procedures using electronic medical records systems.
- Assist in inventory management and proper handling of sterile supplies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other hospital staff to ensure readiness of instruments and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience; 2 years preferred.
- Certification such as CBSPD or CRCST required.
- Ability to work evenings, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.
- Must be able to pass certification and compliance assessments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as EPIC.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterility and safety protocols.
